Research experience is incredibly important for many career paths after graduation. Graduate schools like to see applicants with research experience outside of the classroom and many employers value the types of skills learned in research laboratories. The University of Wyoming has several formal programs to encourage undergraduate research, including the McNair Scholars Program and the Wyoming Research Scholars Program, but many additional opportunities exist with individual labs.

We created this site to function as a centralized "job board" for undergraduate research opportunities in ecology and evolution at the University of Wyoming. We encourage students to peruse the listings on the job board and reach out to the listed contacts for any opportunities about which they'd like to know more.
